A few thoughts about the sad lack of critical thinking skills amongst my Christian brethren.

• Trevor Mander of Cultwatch critiques Bob Cornuke with a summary paper "Bob Cornuke Problems"
  
• Gelf Magazine's "gelflog" critiques Amway in "Pyramid Scheme Profiling"
  
• The Creation Research Institute and 'Answers in Genesis' are little more than money making schemes churning out books for the credulous

The problem is most people (not just Christians) lack the scientific education and sophistication to judge whether a claim is bogus. The media does not help either; Ben Goldacre's Bad Science column corrects some egregious examples.
